SociABLEs Hub & C.R.E.W.S. is for people determined to ‘Enjoy a Life of their Choice’, with dedicated staff and volunteers there to encourage and enable them along the way.
We have two main areas of focus for our `Joining Us & Joining In` Projects. These are Social Inclusion, and Supported Work Placements/Work-Based Skills/Skills Training.
All of our programmed activities are intended to be a part of each individual’s personal development. Our Supported Work Placements/Work-Based Skills Training, include options for:
Catering & Hospitality in our well-equipped kitchen and Noshery catering facility
Horticulture & Landbased Skills including general maintenance and caretaking of our 1 acre site
Enterprise & Marketing with computer skills workshops, making gifts sets, and listing student-made items for sale in real online marketplaces
Skills for Life and Independence through P.A. time and supporting on an individual basis; i.e, washing clothes, visiting shops, buddy groups.
SociABLEs Hub is a leading provider of Socially Inclusive Activities and preferred provider on local authorities Dynamic Purchasing Schemes. Our programmes are written by our Service Users themselves and represent their interests, with programmes developed in small friendship groups of around 4 – 6 people in each. We call these our SociABUBBLEs and we can have several of these every day, 7 days per week, all year round, with each heading off in different directions, doing the things they like, with their group of friends and within the wider community.
We work with people of all ages and backgrounds, and we’re committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
Support is provided necessary to needs and can range from 1:1 P.A. support to our Specialist Independence Scheme where Service Users benefit from a more distanced level of support, and where Service Users are ready to take steps towards independence.
